Frequently Asked Questions
Which Markdown features are supported?
ATX headings (# to ######), paragraphs, bold, italic, strikethrough, inline code, fenced code blocks with language labels, ordered and unordered lists (including nesting), task-style content, blockquotes, pipe tables with alignment, horizontal rules, links, images, and hard line breaks (two trailing spaces).
Is the generated HTML safe to paste into my site?
Yes. Every character of your input is HTML-escaped before any formatting is applied, so scripts or raw HTML in your Markdown are shown as literal text instead of executed. Link and image URLs are also scheme-checked: only http, https, mailto, and relative URLs survive — javascript: and data: URLs are rejected.
What is the difference between Preview and HTML view?
Preview shows the rendered result styled like a finished document. HTML view shows the exact markup that was generated, so you can copy it into a CMS, blog, docs site, or email template.
Can I download the result as a file?
Yes. Download .html exports a complete standalone HTML document with inline styles — open it in any browser or edit it further in your editor.
Does my text leave the browser?
No. Parsing happens entirely in this tab with a built-in renderer — no server, no library download, no network request. Close the tab and it is gone.
