Frequently Asked Questions
What can I put in a QR code?
Plain text, website URLs, email addresses, phone numbers, Wi-Fi credentials, and most other short strings.
What does the error correction level do?
Higher levels embed more redundancy, so the code still scans if part of it is damaged or covered. The trade-off is a denser code.
Is my content sent to a server?
No. The QR code is generated in your browser and the PNG is created locally too.
Why is my QR code hard to scan?
Usually the code is too small or printed with low contrast. Keep a white margin around it and make sure dark modules are black on white.
